Description

A delightful twist on the classic Philly cheesesteak, the Chicken Philly features tender chicken, sautéed vegetables, and melted cheese, all nestled in a soft hoagie roll.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb chicken breast, thinly sliced or shredded
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 4 slices provolone cheese (or cheese of choice)
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until tender and no longer pink.
  2. Add sliced bell peppers and onions to the skillet. Sauté until vegetables are soft but still crunchy.
  3. Layer provolone cheese over the chicken and veggies, allowing it to melt.
  4. Toast hoagie rolls lightly and load them with the cheesy chicken and vegetable mixture.
  5. Serve hot and enjoy!
