Ingredients
- 1 smoked spiral ham (size as needed)
- Cloves (for studding)
- 1 cup honey (for glaze)
- 1/4 cup mustard (for glaze)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (for glaze)
- Roasting pan
- Meat thermometer
Instructions
- Thaw the ham in the refrigerator for up to three days before cooking.
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Place the ham cut side down in the roasting pan and cover lightly with foil.
- Bake the ham for about 10 minutes per pound until it reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C).
- Prepare the glaze by mixing honey, mustard, and brown sugar in a bowl.
- Remove the foil in the last 30 minutes of baking, glazing the ham every 10 minutes.
- Once cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before carving.
- Serve with your favorite sides.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider experimenting with different glaze ingredients such as ground cloves or cinnamon. Properly store any leftovers wrapped tightly for up to a week.
