Description

A delicious and juicy smoked spiral ham, perfect for holiday gatherings and special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1 smoked spiral ham (size as needed)
  • Cloves (for studding)
  • 1 cup honey (for glaze)
  • 1/4 cup mustard (for glaze)
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar (for glaze)
  • Roasting pan
  • Meat thermometer

Instructions

  1. Thaw the ham in the refrigerator for up to three days before cooking.
  2. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C).
  3. Place the ham cut side down in the roasting pan and cover lightly with foil.
  4. Bake the ham for about 10 minutes per pound until it reaches an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C).
  5. Prepare the glaze by mixing honey, mustard, and brown sugar in a bowl.
  6. Remove the foil in the last 30 minutes of baking, glazing the ham every 10 minutes.
  7. Once cooked, let it rest for a few minutes before carving.
  8. Serve with your favorite sides.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider experimenting with different glaze ingredients such as ground cloves or cinnamon. Properly store any leftovers wrapped tightly for up to a week.
