Ingredients
- 1 pound lean ground pork or shrimp
- 1 cup shredded carrots
- 1 cup finely chopped mushrooms
- 1 cup bean sprouts
- 1 cup vermicelli noodles, cooked
- 1 tablespoon fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 package rice wrappers
- Vegetable oil for frying or baking
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix ground pork or shrimp, carrots, mushrooms, bean sprouts, vermicelli noodles, fish sauce, salt, and pepper together.
- Soak rice wrappers in warm water until pliable.
- Place a few tablespoons of filling onto the wrapper, fold in the sides, and roll tightly.
- For frying, heat oil in a pan and fry rolls until golden brown. For baking, preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for about 15-20 minutes until crispy.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
