Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices.
- In another bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, oil, and eggs until well combined.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool before frosting or serving.
