Description

A moist and flavorful pumpkin spice cake that captures the warm, cozy flavors of fall.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger
  • 1/4 tsp ground cloves


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch pan.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and spices.
  3. In another bowl, mix the pumpkin puree, oil, and eggs until well combined.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
