Description

Ingredients

  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch (optional for thickness)
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. In a pot, bring the broth to a gentle boil.
  2. Whisk the eggs in a bowl.
  3. Slowly pour the beaten eggs into the boiling broth while stirring gently to create thin ribbons.
  4. Add cornstarch mixed with a little water if using, along with soy sauce, ginger, and garlic.
